Introduction

With the view to develop educational values in the rural area the P.T.C. Education society started Arts, Commerce &Science College in the year 1970. The commerce department was started right from the beginning .It is to develop proficiency, competency awareness of national values amongst the students. The department of commerce also encourages the student’s to participate in curricular & extra-curricular activities for all round development of personality
As it is stated earlier the department of commerce is established in June 1970.The department runs different teaching programmes as prescribed by the North Maharashtra University. The department always stimulates the students to take keen interest in advance courses& job-oriented courses. As we run under graduate courses we try to develop the basic skills which would be useful for them for higher education & for the further advance courses in the field of the commerce. Even being as under graduate department we have incalculated multiple commercial values among the students and for that we have subscribed reputed national journals in this field. These journals are kept there in central library for the indoor reading of the students. Along with classroom teaching various commercial visits are arranged to give them factual training. This is also a part &parcel of our practical examination. For enhancing industrial skills we also arrange industrial visits throughout the academic year.
Apart from that we arrange the lecture of expert from outside to enlighten our students as it will be helpful for them for searching jobs and business .we arrange some educational tours and visits to industrial areas and banks for practical exams as well as to enhance their knowledge

  • To introduce various stages involved in project formation from proposal to implementation.
  • To create overall awareness of the business world, globalization, W.T.O. etc. among the students.
  • To develop the ability, competency in appearing the competitive examinations like MPSC, MCM, MBA, CA, ICWA, etc.
